WE STAND FOR

● Human Rights    ● Rule of Law    ● Justice    ● Property rights for all

“During President Robert Mugabe’s 37 years in power, he presided over the brutal repression of political opponents, established a culture of impunity for himself and his cronies, and his government implemented a series of policies that have had disastrous consequences for his people.”

Emmerson Mnangagwa was a key member of President Mugabe’s elite

Mr Mnangagwa was a key member of the ruling party elite throughout President Mugabe’s 37-year tenure. He has also masterminded and implemented Mr Mugabe’s ruthless strategies to remain in power, notably:

  • 1982-1987: The Gukurahundi massacres of the Ndebele people

  • 2000: The violent farm invasions

  • 2002: Fraudulent elections / violence and intimidation

  • 2005: Operation Murambatsvina:  The mid-winter bulldozing of urban homes to destroy the opposition Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) party’s urban power base

  • May-June 2008: The brutal presidential run-off election violence

  • 2013: Fraudulent elections through mass-scale rigging

The reality is that the System has yet to change

"What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
