We are recruiting for an Operations Manager based in Durban North.

 

The candidate will need to solicit new customers, service existing customers, employ (where necessary) suitably experienced blue-collar labour, employ skilled sales consultants and will ultimately need to work at steering the business in achieving and exceeding its company targets for the region.

 

The ideal candidate will assume full control and responsibility of the company, and must immediately work on sales and build the business so as to allow for sustainable growth.

 

 Qualifications/ Experience

 

  • Grade 12 certificate

  • A suitable tertiary education and formal business qualification ((B-Comm Management).

  • Strict staff control, supervision, motivation and management of all HR functions

  • Full understanding of Occupational Health and Safety laws and regulations

  • Stock control/inventory management and purchasing management

  • Production management and quality control

  • Fleet control and maintenance

  • Debtors collection

  • Creditors function

  • Customer liaison, on-site sales quotations, over-the-counter sales and servicing key accounts

  • Sound selling skills/experience with good negotiation and presentation skills

  • Effectively manage a sales team

  • Attention to detail

  • Impeccable planning and organizing skills

  • Provide weekly reports, monthly management reports and market and competitor intelligence

  • Possess a ‘level head’ and must have the ability work well under pressure and to adhere to reporting deadlines

We are recruiting for a Facilities Manager for a large Corporate Manufacturing/Distribution Company in Durban with the following

 

Qualifications/Experience

 

  • Matric - preferably with Accounting, Business Economics and Mathematics                                                       

  • Civil Engineering Diploma or a technical qualification in a trade                                                                                 

  • Ability to speak Zulu would be an advantage                                                                                                                   

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a maintenance, building supervisor or civil engineering related field.      

  • Intermediate knowledge and skill in MS Office, specifically MS Word and MS Excel                            

  • Knowledge of legislation related to Health & Safety, Building Regulations, Municipal by-laws,

  • Hazardous Substances, Electrical, First Aid, etc.

 

Functions

  • Plan and organise the sequence and priority of tasks to ensure regular maintenance.

One of the leading Call Centre’s in Durban is currently recruiting for a Campaign Manager. We require someone with short term insurance or broking expertise.

 

Qualifications/Experience

 

  • Matric

  • FAIS related qualification with a minimum of 120 credits and/or

  • Completed RE 5 exams for reps

  • 2 years recent motor and household broker / short term insurance experience gained within a corporate organization

  • 2 years sales management experience

  • Call centre experience advantageous but not essential

Functions

 

  • Manage processes, ensure compliance, monitor resources, report real-time and motivate, coach, lead and drive positive staff behavior.                                                                                                                                  

  • Driving both individual and team performance to achieve sales targets.

 Qualifications/Experience

 

  • Matric/Grade 12

  • 3- 4 years’ experience in a support role – at a senior/executive level. 

 

Functions

 

  • Complete support / secretarial function
